My daughter and I like to spend Mom and daughter time. Taking a weekend drive to Rehoboth Beach is just a nice get a way. The drive isn't too long and the boardwalk is much less expensive that that of Ocean City although they are only about 30 minutes apart. In the morning we rent bikes and ride through the neighborhoods. We swim at the pool that is at the hotel right on the boardwalk. It gives the wonderful fill of the beach without any of the dirty ocean water. My daughter doesn't like to get caught in the waves. Each trip we make would not be complete without a hermit crab and yet another T-Shirt saying Rehoboth Beach. It is our favorite Beach. There are so many interesting and unique shops that even my teenage daughter finds something to enjoy. I recommend this weekend trip to anyone who would like a nice relaxing weekend spent at the shore. |
